Fifty years ago the shinobi villages were founded. The Uchiha and Senju put aside their differences to form the Hidden Leaf Village and many others followed their guidance. As the other shinobi villages formed, the Hidden Leaf Village grew in power and the others wanted that power. A short ten years after the founding of the villages, the world descended into war. In an aim to get the power the Leaf had, the other four villages attacked the Leaf. However, finding out that the others were also involved, caused the four other villages to begin to attack each other, giving time for the Leaf to regroup. This war last thirty years with every village losing its first kage and the Leaf and Mist both losing their second kage. Now, ten years from the armistice that ended the war, the villages are still rebuilding. The Land of Iron has interceded itself in an attempt to keep the peace, by created a neutral space for the village kages to meet. Their samurai keep the peace in their territory and negotiate on behalf of the lesser countries. In a show of good faith, they will occasionally send young samurai to the shinobi villages to learn from their experiences. It is in the time of peace that great evil tends to grow.
